The Family Life Ministry includes these ministries:
Cards of Encouragement - A ministry for people needing a word of hope during a difficult time. Men and women send cards to individuals and families with a word of encouragement to help them through challenging situations.
Family Counseling - Personal short-term counseling for families and individuals facing life challenges.
Royal Family Kids' Camp & Golf Tournament - Each summer a group of men and women show God's love to a group of abused and neglected children during a week of summer camp. For the children as well as the counselors, the camp is a life-changing experience. The golf tournament is used as a fundraiser to support the camp.
Senior Adults Ministry - A group of Seniors that like to enjoy wholesome fellowship. Activities include Book Swap, Ice Cream Socials, Hobby Show & speakers to keep us informed on issues like new laws & medical concerns.
Shut-Ins - Men and women who are unable to attend services are visited throughout the year.
DivorceCare - Offered in the Spring & Fall (first Wednesday in March & September)
DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for families who are separated or divorced. This group meets in room 104 each Wednesday, 7 – 8:30 PM. The group runs for thirteen weeks with a one-time registration fee for materials (scholarships are available). More information is available at DivorceCare.org.
GriefShare - Offered in the Spring & Fall (first Wednesday in March & September)
GriefShare is a group for people that have lost someone close to them. Please join us for our weekly support group on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM in Room 103. The group will run for thirteen weeks. There is a one-time* registration fee for materials. (Scholarships are available). More information is available at www.GriefShare.org.
