VOLUNTEERING IN MEDIA

The Media Ministry is a vital part of sharing God’s Word—helping our church connect through video, sound, lighting, and live stream. Whether you’re behind the camera, running sound, designing presentations, or managing livestreams, you’ll play a key role in creating an atmosphere where people can encounter God.

Roles in the Media Ministry
Presentation Technician – Runs lyrics, sermon notes, and announcements.
Camera Operator – Captures live worship services and events.
Video Director – Oversees video production and directs camera shots.

Live Stream Technician – Oversees streaming to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, or church websites.

PRESENTATIONS

Presentations Technicians are responsible for running visual media during worship services, events, and live streams. This role ensures that song lyrics, sermon notes, videos, and graphics are displayed on screen in a timely, accurate, and distraction-free manner to enhance the worship experience.

VIDEO PRODUCTION

Video Directors oversee the planning, directing, and execution of all live and recorded video production during worship services and special events. This role ensures that video content enhances worship, communicates the church’s mission, and creates an engaging experience for both in-person and online audiences.
Video Camera Operators play a vital role in the church’s media ministry by capturing live video during worship services, events, and productions. This position ensures that services are visually clear, engaging, and accessible both in-person and online.

LIGHTING

Lighting Technicians are responsible for operating, maintaining, and programming the church’s lighting systems to create an atmosphere that enhances worship, supports the message, and ensures a distraction-free environment both in-person and online.

LIVE STREAMING

Live Stream Technicians are responsible for overseeing and executing the church’s live video broadcasts. This role ensures worship services, events, and special programs are streamed with excellence, reliability, and clarity so that online viewers can fully engage in worship.

We live stream on Bethany’s website, FaceBook, and YouTube channels.

VIDEO ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Media Ministry is responsible for recording, editing and producing the weekly informational video announcements using professional grade HD video cameras, audio recording devices, in-house studio, teleprompter and nonlinear digital editing equipment.
